The Sirens Media team has produced over 100 episodes of crime & investigation television, many of them for the long-running Court TV series Body of Evidence, Psychic Detectives, and Suburban Secrets, as well as the upcoming MSNBC series Verdict: You Decide and Conviction. We are extremely proud of our reputation for quality, integrity, and sincerity, not only in the shows we produce, but also in the way we work with law enforcement agencies, criminal justice officials, and the victims of crime. It is our sincere privilege to produce television shows that honor the hard work and dedication of law enforcement officials around the country, as well as help share the true impact of crime and justice on the communities & individuals whose lives it touches.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank the hundreds of law enforcement officials, forensic analysts, victims of crime, and community members who have worked with us over the years, several of whom have generously provided testimonials on the following page. Please also visit our Projects page for information on all our justice programming.
Sirens Media was founded in 2005 by partners Rebecca Toth Diefenbach and Valerie Haselton Drescher, who bring together 20 years of experience in the television industry creating award-winning programs for broadcasters in the U.S. and U.K. A graduate of UCLA, Rebecca began her career in Los Angeles as Director of Development for Mandalay Media Arts, Peter Guber's non-fiction production company. There, she developed and produced a wide-variety of programs including fiction, non-fiction, and theatrical (including IMAX) specials. Also a California native, Valerie began her film career in England where she received her Master's degree in Film and Television from Bristol University. From there, Valerie joined Hybrid TV, which was an innovative new production group started by HTV, the regional division of ITV for West England and Wales. At Hybrid, Valerie directed and produced a daily live show that helped launch the careers of both Jason Bradbury and Sacha Baron Cohen. Back in the U.S., both Valerie and Rebecca spent a number of years as freelancers, producing and show-running programs for channels such as the Discovery Networks, A&E, Court TV, National Geographic, and PBS.
In addition to its justice programming, Sirens Media also produces a full range of non-fiction programming. Clients include Animal Planet, Bravo, Court TV, Discovery Channel, MSNBC, Mojo, and The N.
